The redesign and development of the VIRWC website

The Project: in brief

 

In July 2007, team 21 was commissioned by the Ms Melba Marginson of the VIRWC (the Victorian Immigrant and Refugee Coalition) in conjunction with Victoria University's School of Mathematics and Computer Science to re-design the existing VIRWC website www.virwc.org.auOpen in a new window and set up a content management system. The project runs for a year (semester 2 2007 - semester 1 2008)



The task force team 21 comprises of 4 Final year Computer Science students and is supervised by Dr. Iwona Miliszewska. More about contributorsOpen in a new window


Our focus is increasing the visual appeal functionality of the website and make its editing easier for the VIRWC staff.


After the completion of the project in June 2008, VIRWC hopes to launch the new website. The new website is available at  www.virwc.org.au/jOpen in a new window
